Anna Lunoe becomes first solo female artist to play EDC Las Vegas' main stage
Alison Wonderland also played the festival's main stage at the weekend
Anna Lunoe became the first solo female artist to play Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas' main stage in the event's 20 years at the weekend.
The Australian DJ and producer, now based in the US, took to social media to spread the good vibes after her historic Saturday night set, posting to Facebook:
"Holy shit. last night I became first girl to play mainstage in 20 yrs of #edclv ... (solo that is, shout out Krewella for doing it in 2014).
"Ten years of non stop grindin. seeing this photo makes me wanna cry. thank u everyone who helped me do this.... we just went down in history."
Fellow Aussie DJ and producer Alison Wonderland then took control of the event's main stage on Sunday night, followed by Carnage, Tiesto and DJ Snake.
"This is the first year EDC LV has had solo women play the main stage," Wonderland posted ahead of her own set.
"I feel honoured and also a massive responsibility to represent what's right nervous af hope I do Australia and women proud tonight."
Shout outs to Anna and Alison and let's hope we see even more female artists killing it on the main stage next year.
