At the beginning of the year we premiered 'Soul Traveler', a tune by Anja Schneider packed with wriggly synths, sizzling percussion and a spoken word vocal that added a vintage touch to it. It's pretty phenomenal and we finished our write-up by saying "what a start to the year" for the mobilee boss and it was only "onwards and upwards" from there on in.

Was that the direction she took? Course it was. After that she compiled a mix for Mixmag Germany, including tracks by herself, Rodriguez Jr. and Lee Van Dowski, jetted to Israel, Ibiza and the United States for shows and took her label back to Barcelona for the famous rooftop parties during OFF week.

Rodriguez Jr, Catz 'N Dogz and Autotune were her guests at the Sunday party, but it was Anja who took the limelight with her brand new track, 'Rain'. It's a brand new one coming out via a same-titled EP on mobilee next week and we've got the exclusive for anyone that didn't have the pleasure of hearing it in Spain last month.

Anja pieces together hypnotic bleeps, pumping kicks and a super soulful vocal to create one trippy tech number. Going to Ibiza this summer? You'll probably hear this.
