An autumn version of Coachella is on the cards

Indio, California could make another $1.4 million

The launch of an autumn edition of Coachella is making "significant progress’".

Goldenvoice, the company behind the festival, are working alongside Indio officials to create an autumnal version of Coachella at its home in California. Although it's had the opportunity to expand since 2013, recent reports state that the idea of a fall festival is now "imminent".

It's estimated that the event will bring around $1.4million to the city and will champion Indio’s name as being the ‘City of Festivals’.

Due to its phenomenal success, the festival first expanded in 2012 in creating a two-week option. It is also launching an east coast version this upcoming year.
