Amman's Vudu club launches label offshoot, shares debut V/A
Expect melodic house, afro house and beyond
Jordanian club Vudu, situated in the capital city, has launched its label offshoot, Vudu Amman.
To accompany the announcement, the new imprint - headed up by Fairplay and Roo (JO) - has shared its first V/A, featuring a mixture of melodic house, afro house and sounds from across the club music spectrum intended to reflect the club (and, of course, now label)'s vibrancy.

Across the sonic deep dive, alongside the co-founders, names involved include Phonique, Alican, Marco Resmann, Nhii, Vidi and more.
Vudu Amman intends to champion the voices of artists from Jordan and beyond throughout its journey, with the compilation doing so by featuring artists who "share Vudu's vision of bridging worlds through music". Within each track, each artist offers their unique perspective and heritage to the forefront.
"Starting a label has always been something we had in our plans," explains Fairplay. "At the stage we were at with Vudu Amman, it definitely felt like the right time to embark on this path. Having an incredible team and all the talented artists on this journey has made it so rewarding. What started as a few parties has turned into a whole community and powerhouse that work together to create and produce stuff that inspires us all. We can't wait to see where this path leads us."
