The 'Wang Squad' enlists some exciting new members
Whenever Fashion Week rolls around, all eyes are on Alexander Wang.
Alexander's new fall campaign invites a number of artists to feature their talents and style in a collective dubbed the 'Wang Squad'. This season, Vince Staples, Skrillex, Metroboomin, RL Grime and Alice Glass, formerly from Crystal Castles, will join the coveted movement.
The vague promotional cuts via Instagram leave fans with many questions. Single shots of polaroids flashing to ASAP Ferg's 'Strive' show off all of Wang's chosen squad members with the captioning #WANG16.
The designer icon who rose to fame after his first runway show at age 19, former creative director of Balenciaga and Parsons drop-out is known for his love of electronic music.
He's been seen on the dance floor at last year's MATTE Black party headlined by Gesaffelstein and enlisted Baauer for last season's pre-show runway mix. Now, he's taken it upon himself to collect his own favorite musicians for the latest stretch.
