Adam Beyer collaborates with Pig&Dan on forthcoming ‘Capsule’ EP
Four tracks of techno variations via Drumcode
Adam Beyer continues his series of collaborative EPs with the next installment titled ‘Capsule’, featuring four collaborations with Pig&Dan.
A release that is literally 12 months in the making, the collection of tracks found on ‘Capsule’ touch on a variety of techno motifs, from the heaving hitting big room sound and gritty percussive arrangements to more catchy melodic synth work and classic vocal hooks.
Beyer revealed a bit about with it was like working with Pig the vision behind the material on the forthcoming release: “If you listen to the track ‘We Are E’, that’s very UK rave inspired. That’s common ground we both have, as I was heavily into D&B and jungle. We spent a lot of time talking about old records and samples. It was fun finding out we share similar interests.”
The Drumcode boss has been on a hot streak of collabs recently. The ‘Capsule’ EP with Pig&Dan follows released produced in partnership with Mark Reeve and Dense & Pika, both of which were received warmly by critics and fans alike.
The ‘Capsule’ EP by Adam Beyer VS Pig&Dan is set for release on March 20 via Drumcode.
