AD/D (Art Department Remix)
Check out Jonny White's first solo output as Art Deparment
When two become one.
Back in April 2015, news broke that Art Department would no longer be a two-man mission and that Kenny Glasgow would pursue his own solo career, leaving Jonny White to hold down the Art Department name.
Now, White reappears with his first solo output as Art Department and he's responsible for two remixes on the upcoming 'Motor City Sunrise' EP by Canadian artist Mario J aka AD/D.
He's already released a lot of exciting, raw electronic music via Turbo and Definitive and now he heads to No.19 with some of his most assured work to date. We've got the premiere of Art Department's remix of the title track and it's one you should get acquainted with right away.
It's an emotive, deep-house roller that lures you in from the get go with slamming kicks and scattered percussion. As it progresses, big, majestic synths come hurtling in and it takes on a whole new, thrilling persona.
If this is what Art Department will sound like from now on, we like it.
The 'Motor City Sunrise' EP by AD/D will be released on September 7 via No.19 Music
