A new club called East House is opening in Lisbon
Phil Weeks plays the launch event on New Year's Eve
East House is a new mid-size 450-capacity club with a floor-level booth that is opening in Lisbon on December 31.
The club promises a regular calendar of electronic music events, from both DJs and live acts, and to play the role of a “research lab for new methods and practices that aim to contribute to a more sustainable future in the music industry.”
Its dancefloor features a decorative red London bus, due to the company behind the club Unlogical’s links to the English capital.
East House follows the success of the l ela l or East Lisbon Afters parties - secret underground events that have been running in the city since early 2016.
The launch event of New Year’s Eve is headlined by Phil Weeks and Jorge Caiado, and also features a number of l ela l residents.
