A mother and son were caught with 100,000 ecstasy pills in their luggage
In total worth about $430,000
Now in the middle of summer, everyone is traveling and, as we all know, packing and getting through the airport can be a hassle, but it was especially a nightmare for these two.
Earlier this week, a 57-year old mother and 19-year old son were stopped in Israel's Ben Gurion Airport and were found to have 100,000 ecstasy pills hidden in the double walls of their suitcases. They were arrested and admitted to charges of drug trafficking and intent to distribute. In total, it weighed 7.5 kilograms and is said to be worth $430,000.
The two landed in Israel on a flight from The Netherlands and were said to be traveling for a family event in Jerusalem. Quite the family party they had planned...
