A fresh-faced The Prodigy feature in this Essex rave documentary
Go back to 1992 when the county dominated hardcore
Essex might have a bit of a dodgy rep nowadays thanks to the TOWIE mob, but back in the day it was the place for the hardcore scene.
Who was at the centre of it all? Four young fellas who called themselves The Prodigy and a 1992 documentary was shared yesterday showing the fresh-faced lads in their early years.
Keith Flint, Liam Howlett, Maxim and former dancer Leeroy Thornhill chat about resonating with their age group, while Dan Donnelly, owner of Suburban Base Records, talks about taking on the majors.
Expect a nutty soundtrack, too, with Smart E's' 'Sesame's Treat', The Prodigy's 'Out Of Space' and Sonz Of A Loop Da Loop Era's 'Peace & Loveism' playing.
