A documentary looking into Kanye West and Jay Z’s feud is coming

Public Enemies comes out on July 31 on Channel 4

A new documentary charting the deterioration of Kanye West and Jay Z’s relationship is coming to Channel 4.

Public Enemies explores West and Jay Z’s lives and rivalry through unseen footage, home videos and exclusive interviews with close friends.

Director Nico Wasserman says: “In the process of building their empires Jay Z and Kanye have provided a spine tingling soundtrack for a generation. Their story goes beyond their music and has opened up discussions on everything from class barriers to mental health.”

In a clip promoting the documentary, friend Eugene McNair mentions West’s love of pornography in an interview.

“He had African shit throughout the house, crates of records everywhere and an extensive porno collection. It was like damn – he likes girls, he likes clothes, he likes music, he likes African shit, he likes art and you know we all jam.”

In the clip he also takes a film crew to West’s childhood home.

Public Enemies will be screened at 10pm on July 31 on Channel 4.
