A Daft Punk tribute band is rebuilding the iconic Pyramid stage

Building the iconic stage setup has cost the group "an arm and a fuckin' leg"

If you're tired of waiting for Daft Punk to return... why not take it into your own robotic hands?

That's what Irish tribute band Daft As Punk are doing, anyways. The duo, who have been performing behind Daft Punk masks as an official tribute group for seven years, shared their "epic announcement" last week. "We're building a full size replica of Daft Punk's ALIVE 2007 PYRAMID STAGE for our only Irish show this year," the group's Facebook page reads.

Unsurprisingly, Daft As Punk have explained that rebuilding the iconic stage setup will cost them "an arm and a fuckin’ leg" but are sure it'll help cement their tribute legacy. Tickets are already sold out for their anticipated October 20 show in Dublin.
