A candlelit vigil for David Mancuso will be held in New York this weekend

Tompkins Square Park in New York will host a candlelit vigil celebrating the life of David Mancuso this Saturday at 5pm.

The seminal DJ and founder of revered New York nightspot The Loft passed away last month, drawing tributes from across the world of dance music for the depth of his influence which touched figures such as Frankie Knuckles and Larry Levan.
