50 Weapons reveals details of the last of its ammunition
The label will close this year
50 Weapons has outlined the last of its releases to drop before the label closes.
There will be 11 EPs in the run-up to the closure, with Zenker Brothers, imprint regular Bambounou, German techno producer Rødhåd, Shed, Marcel Dettmann, Margaret Dygas, Monolake, Benjamin Damage, who gave us 'Trickster' recently, and label bosses Modeselektor all involved.
It'll be a boxset entitled 'RIP 50 Weapons' and comes as 11 12" vinyls, with a USB stick containing the 22 tracks from the release.
Modeselektor have reiterated that the Monkeytown Records offshoot was going to close once "50 weapons" had been released and there is going to be a run of farewell shows from November to February.
