Dean Blunt announces a Babyfather album is coming on Hyperdub
He's got the artwork of the year prized locked up
Dean Blunt has announced his Babyfather project will release an album titled ‘BBF Hosted by DJ Escrow’ through Hyperdub on April 1.
Arca, who collaborated with Blunt on last year’s Babyfather mixtape ‘UK2UK’, features on three of the LP’s 23 tracks, while Mica Levi contributed to ‘God Hour’.
The album comes decorated with some pretty incredible artwork, depicting a union jack-branded hoverboard overlooking the London skyline (see above), while the press release from Hyperdub comes with a co-sign from Idris Elba stating that the album “makes me proud to be British.”
