Ruthlss shares debut single fusing industrial, UK bass and techno influences

London-based musician Ruthlss has shared her new electronic track 'Higher' this week, fusing industrial, UK bass and techno soundscapes.
Reminiscent of her immersive sets, the producer draws upon her classical training and composition knowledge to add depth and texture to the track. By weaving together sonic tapestries and bridging genres, her electronic debut is a powerful, no-holds-barred affair and lands ahead of her debut in fabric's Room 1 with Daniel Avery next month.

"This is a euphoric club weapon inspired by The Chemical Brothers and '90s rave era gems," the London-via-Leeds musician explains. "[It is] a high octane anthem to soundtrack escapism through the power of dancing and connecting with others no matter what you’re going through.
"This is the kind of music and energy that got me through a tough time a couple of years ago and so I wanted to write something as a tribute to the music and culture that made me and so many others feel alive again."
