Ross From Friends unveils new project Bubble Love

The debut track 'Believe' is out now

Ross From Friends has debuted his new musical project Bubble Love with the single ‘Believe’.

The UK DJ and producer - real name Felix Clary Weatherall - has been working as Ross From Friends since the 2010s and is now launching a whole new persona.

‘Believe’ is our first taste of Weatherall’s new persona and it sees him dive into the realm of uplifting house music, pairing it with a catchy vocal sample.

In his latest post on Instagram, he explains: “My pals convinsed me to realse this tune and i’n so glad then did!!!! Shouts out to the boys”.

Bubble Love was first revealed in July with Weatherall sharing that he wanted to experiment.

In a statement at the time he shared: “I wanted to shake that confused feeling associated with making music, so I came up with an experiment one day when I was making music on the train. I told myself, ‘let me try making a tune as if there was a little character instructed to carry out the very first idea that came into my head.’”

“I was really excited to carry on like this when I got back to my studio and I just got lost in it again and again. I noticed the more I worked this way, the clearer this character became. Like it started gaining actual characteristics, a voice, a personality.”

He adds: “In a nutshell, that digital geezer is Bubble Love. He's extracted all of that drunk, decisive, hedonistic energy and put it into music. He's definitely what's been the main driving force behind my DJ sets lately, and he can be a proper troll so watch out.”
