FAFF share glimmering new EP 'Ouverture For Love'

The record is available via party-turned-label BDE (Big Dyke Energy) and features a collaboration with Miss Sharon Le Grand

FAFF have released their new EP, 'Ouverture for Love', via their party-turned-label and platform, BDE (Big Dyke Energy) Records.

The two-tracker feels a nostalgic affair as summer draws to a close, with its titular track on the B-side embracing sweet vocals above a warm, peak time melody boasting particularly uplifting keys. Its drop welcomes bass and breaks, complimenting the equally high-energy EP opener 'Fancy Coat'.

A collaboration with Miss Sharon Le Grand, its recent performance at Field Maneuvers proved the addictive nature of the cut, which comprises of tongue-in-cheek humour and energy. There's even a music video, which is landing in the coming weeks.

"It’s a blessing to be able to work with the iconic Miss Sharon Le Grand!" FAFF tell Mixmag. "We’ve been friends for years and always wanted to do a collab - no idea why it’s taken us this long. The song stems from the final BDE party, our friend 'Fancy Shews' lost her coat - all hell broke loose and it went viral on Instagram, so Fancy Coat an ode to that silly little mystery.

"On the other side ‘Ouverture for Love’ is a tribute to one of our favourite Lisa Stansfield songs and a nostalgic track to polish off our summer."
