Kamaal Williams accused by four more women of sexual harassment
A new investigation by Resident Advisor details incidents alleged to have taken place as recently as 2023

Four more women have accused Kamaal Williams of sexual assault in an updated investigation by Resident Advisor’s Anu Shukla and Annabel Ross.
The alleged incidents were detailed in a new report published yesterday (July 2), just weeks after an initial investigation released in May recounting claims of sexual assault by three anonymous women.
The jazz keyboardist and producer, also known as Henry Wu, is accused of sexual harassment, coercive behaviour, and sexual assault in incidents separate to one another.
Resident Advisor reported that following the initial investigation in May, “at least 18 others have come forward” with allegations against Williams, which range from “inappropriate behaviour to sexual assault”.
Of those who came forward, only four chose to speak on record about their alleged experiences. All four women have had their identities masked for their safety.
Some of the alleged incidents are claimed to have taken place as recently as 2023, with most alleging similar accounts of sexual assault despite not being known to each other.
Williams has not yet responded to the alleged incidents presented to him. In May, following the first investigation, a representative for Kamaal Williams told Resident Advisor that the “very serious allegations are untrue and emphatically denied by him and that he will be able to demonstrate the same.”
Earlier in May, each of Kamaal Williams’ forthcoming headline shows was cancelled following RA’s initial report. They included three sold-out nights at London’s Jazz Cafe, and performances at Leeds’ Belgrave Music Hall, Manchester’s Blues Kitchen, and Bristol’s Central Warehouse.
