Elijah & Skilliam present ‘Grime 2015’ with new compilation
The two-disc release is coming on their Butterz label
Elijah & Skilliam are marking a triumphant year for grime with the release of a two-CD compilation on their label Butterz.
Featuring some of the genre's pioneers, such as Wiley, D Double E, Kano and BBK brothers Skepta and JME, and newer stars like Stormzy and Novelist, 'Grime 2015' is a collection of some of the best vocal tracks of the last 12 months.
Out on November 27, producers involved include Pinch, Mumdance, Terror Danjah and Rabit, while Riko Dan, Jammz and P Money are more MCs on it.
Speaking about the motivation behind the compilation, Elijah revealed: "There's been more hype then ever around the artists, music and scene this year than we have ever seen.
"We wanted to toast to a strong 2015 and usher in 2016 letting people know this music isn't going anywhere for a long time."
It's not the first MC-packed grime mix of the year, having been preceded by Logan Sama's 'Fabriclive 83'.
