Four Tet releases long-awaited 3LW sampling track

'Looking At Your Pager' is out now under his KH alias

Four Tet has just shared the highly anticipated track 'Looking At Your Pager' under moniker KH.

The track, which samples American girl group 3LW’s 2000 hit 'No More (Baby I'ma Do Right)', was long-anticipated by fans and track IDers.

Debuted last summer during festival season, the track quickly became a turntable favourite and was played and supported by the likes of Floating Points, Ben UFO, Avalon Emerson, Fred Again..., and Peggy Gou.

In April, Four Tet (read name Kieran Hebden) posted a video playing the original 3LW track on vinyl with the caption "the sample has been cleared", and fans have been eager to hear the track ever since.

Now the track has been officially released under Four Tet's KH moniker and is available to buy and stream everywhere.

Speaking about the track, Kieran says: "This track was made in the summer last year just before my first festival set in a long time. I wanted something new to play that would feel universal, positive and futuristic and this is what I came up with.

"Since then I think more people have asked me about this track than for anything else I’ve ever made and I’ve had amazing times playing it to the best crowds you could ask for. It took quite a while to get approval for the vocal sample but it finally happened recently and now the music is out in the world for everyone."

The track shows Four Tet's sampling ability and ear for sound, his last track released under KH was 'Only Human' - which sampled Nelly Furtado's 'Afraid'.
