The Cause launches fundraising tour in honour of Keith Flint

All proceeds will be donated to mental health charities Mind and CALM

London club The Cause has announced an 11-date charity fundraising tour in honour of the late Keith Flint.

Titled Music for a Jilted Generation, the tour kicked off on March 16 at the Tottenham venue. The likes of Nebula 2, Nookie & MC Five Alive, Billy Nasty, Slipmatt, Ellis Dee, Jason Warlock and NVWLS played out on the night, with all profits from tickets and the bar donated The Cause's charity partners, Mind and CALM.

Forthcoming shows are scheduled for Brighton, Leeds, Sunderland, Glasgow and more, with The Cause partnering with a selection of local venues and collectives in cities across the UK to offer up a “UK-wide celebration of the music Keith and The Prodigy”. Slipmatt, Shadow Child, A Guy Called Gerald, Mark Archer (aka Altern-8), Billy Nasty and more have been confirmed.

Much like the London event, all tour ticket sales will be split between Mind and CALM. Head here for more tour information.

The Cause has also set up a Just Giving page for those who can't make the parties.

Samaritans is a charity that aims to help people suffering emotional distress. They are free to contact 24/7 from any UK or Irish phone by dialling 116 123. Head to samaritans.org for further details.
