Maceo Plex's upcoming tracks are "techno mutations"
Jennifer Cardini's label Correspondant will release the EP
American producer Maceo Plex is set to launch a series of three EPs with the new tracks dubbed as “techno mutations”.
Labelled as the Mutant Series, Eric Estornel’s first installment will be released on May 18 via Correspondant, the label owned by fellow DJ Jennifer Cardini.
'Mutant 1' features three tracks with vocals by Maars, the wife of Estornel. In a similar vein as his Conjure Series in 2015, the three EPs will be released through various labels owned by Estornel’s peers as well as his own label, Ellum Audio.
'Mutant 2' will be released later this year on Ellum and details of the third EP are yet to be announced.
