Richie Hawtin unveils custom, one-of-a-kind MODEL 1 mixer
The one-off version was built by the artist’s father Mick Hawtin
Richie Hawtin has unveiled a custom, ten-channel edition of his PLAYdifferently MODEL 1 mixer, built by the artist’s father Mick Hawtin.
Taking to Instagram over the Christmas period to showcase his one-of-a-kind mixer, Richie wrote “Here’s a glimpse of where things are going into 2018 with the best present I found under the Hawtin family Christmas tree!” adding, “My Dad’s always been my secret weapon, over the years customizing my studio mixers”.
The mixer, which was “specially built to test next generation CLOSE live show ideas for the summer 2018 touring season”, comes complete with additional direct output modifications on the extended rear panel.
