With no outward changes, the new iPad keeps the same sophisticated blend of glass and aluminum, and feels just as weighty and well made as its predecessor. However, underneath its stylish exterior, Apple have significantly upgraded every aspect of the new iPad resulting in an even better user experience.
Featuring Apple's own A5X Quad Core processor, the new iPad is faster than ever before, whilst a 5 Megapixel iSight camera makes pictures even more defined, with the added bonus of 1080p video recording.
However, the stand out feature by far is the all new 9.7 inch Retina Display. Boasting a 2048 x 1536 resolution, the new screen uses 3.1 million pixels - 4 times more than the one found on its predecessor. As a result things are smoother and pin-sharp, with colours even appearing more vibrant. Coming in Wi-fi and Wi-fi + 3G variants, this latest incarnation of the iPad sees Apple tweak a tablet that was already the best in the market.
