A new Max for Live extension developed by Isotonik Studios has added Pac-Man to Ableton Live, giving users the opportunity to produce music by playing the classic game.

The addition is a part of Isotonik's new Arcade series, which has already released generative sequencers featuring Asteroids, Tetris and Pong. Details on the Pac-Man edition is vague with the tech company only specifying that its device will focus on the game's ghost characters. Speculation observes that the ghosts' speed affects note velocity and length in music production.

There is no release date yet for Isotonik Studios' Pac-Man device. See a preview of its Asteroids version below.
