Warp gives away the last copy of Aphex Twin's ultra rare Mt. Fuji cassette
The keepsake ran with an original release of only 500 copies
This past weekend Warp Records offered to fans its last remaining copy of Aphex Twin's Fuji Rock cassette tape.
The prized audio relic was offered at the Independent Label Market in London, where purchasing records from the imprint's booth automatically entered fans into the contest.
Warp originally sold 'Aphex Twin Mt. Fuji 2017' through a limited release of only 500 copies at this year's Fuji Rock Festival in Japan. The 45-track work, featuring obscure synthesizer experiments by Richard James, has become a collector's item among Aphex super-fans.
The winner of the monumental giveaway has not yet been announced.
