Vin Diesel sets his sights on a Grammy with Steve Aoki EDM collaboration
"I think it’s going to blow people’s minds," said Aoki
Vin Diesel is set to enter the world of EDM, revealing in an interview with the Los Angeles Times that he has made a “monster track” with Steve Aoki in Vegas.
The Hollywood hardman paged Aoki in for a video call during the interview, with the Dim Mak head saying: "What Vin brought to the table, I’ve never experienced before. I think it’s going to blow people’s minds.”
Diesel also revealed he was brought to tears by playing the track to his girlfriend Paloma Jimenez for the first time. And is clearly feeling confident about his new career direction, adding: “I’m gonna get a Grammy before I get an Oscar!”
No details about the track have been revealed, but considering the two collaborators involved we can expect it to be fast and furious.
