Although known for taking inspiration from distant clothing cultures Middle Eastern streetwear, AW17 sees the British label look in-wards as creative director Graeme Gaughan reminisces over his teenage years, and how his younger self would react to Brexit Britain and the loss of cultural icons in recent times.

Taking reference from his favourite 90’s band RIDE and their track NOWHERE, the collection features graphic prints and subtle references to the Grunge scene, with plaid shirts, striped tees and baggy silhouettes in a toned down palette of black, grey and maroon.

When describing the collection Gaughan explains, “My solace at that time was and still is music, I reemerced myself in one of the bands of that period RIDE, and one track in particular NOWHERE, which still sums up to me this frustrated inability to change a bigger situation... ”
