Tiga (Deetron Remix)

In October last year, we featured the inimitable Tiga as our cover star. The Montreal hero had a huge 2014 after he released the world-conquering 'Bugatti', a track that was hammered across sound-systems worldwide.

2015 has seen Tiga build upon the success of the trail-blazing jam by bringing his debut live show to life. He debuted the show at Sonar with his collection of classic tracks before heading to London in November but what's more exciting is that we can expect a third album from the visionary very soon.

Coming via Counter Records, the Ninja Tune offshoot, Tiga has described the venture as "a natural fit " before adding "I'm the original Counter. I count RESULTS. Advantage: Tiga City,"

To celebrate, Tiga released 'Don't Break My Heart' last month, a collaboration single co-produced by by Clarian North of ex-Footprintz fame. The killer cut now comes backed with even bigger remixes and we've got the premiere of Deetron's fantastic rework.

The Swiss wizard is a firm favourite in the Mixmag office. His remix of George FitzGerald's 'Every Inch' was a year-defining edit and his 2013 album 'Music Over Matter' showcased more of his unique and heavy-hitting production style.

His remix of 'Don't Break My Heart' starts off with trippy, arpeggiated synths before Tiga's sultry vocals come trickling in. The drop is an onslaught of low-end rumbles, guaranteed to shake any dancefloor. It's a certified banger and you can spin it for the first time here.
