Throwing Shade has announced a new EP, titled 'House Of Silk', coming out through Ninja Tune digitally and as a 12" on March 4 and 18.

The NTS resident described the opening track 'Hashtag IRL' as "an ode to today. It is a reflection of the internet frenzy which has taken over our lives, and which has imprisoned us in a virtual reality, where we each justify our existence through the approval of others.

"We don't really care about each other, we only care about how much we 'like' each other. The anti-social reality of 'social media' is all too ironic."

It heavily features Throwing Shade's vocals, which you may recognise from Sophie tracks 'Lemonade' and 'L.O.V.E', while the rest of the EP showcases her dexterous production capabilities.

Listen to 'hashtag IRL' and check out the tracklist below.

1. 'Hashtag IRL'
2. 'Marble Air'
3. 'Ecco Echo'
4. 'Fear Of Silence'
5. 'Underneath My Eyelids'
