Rising producer Throwing Shade is set to play the final night of Wolfgang Tillman’s South Tank Exhibition at the Tate Modern this weekend.

The NTS Radio host will be joined by Wreck & Reference, an experimental noise outfit from California who specialise in deconstructed live shows, in the space that was a former oil tank.

Throwing Shade AKA Nabihah Iqbal is familiar with the Tate having composed a piece of music for the Turner Prize and performing in both the Tate Modern and the Tate Britain.

Tillman’s exhibition is an immersive experience representing his admiration of music and the role it plays in his life.
