Space Ibiza will not be knocked down next year
Ushuaïa boss Yann Pissenem spoke about the future of the venue at IMS
It's no secret that the owners of Ushuaïa Ibiza are taking control of Space next year. Carl Cox broke the news of the club changing hands, therefore ending his residency, and we recently heard it'll cater towards an Ushuaïa audience under its new guise.
Despite all of the talk and rumours, Ushuaïa boss Yann Pissenem had never spoken about the topic in the past before appearing at IMS Ibiza today.
Describing the move as a "big responsibility", he did confirm that the current Space building in Playa d'en Bossa wouldn't be knocked down ("I can't do it!"), but wouldn't divulge on what it'd be called in 2017.
"I'm still working on the name. I'm not ready right now to speak on it. I'm going to try and give you the best product and best experience."
