Late last year, news broke about an upcoming dance music documentary called What We Started featuring Carl Cox and Martin Garrix.
The unlikely pairing was specifically selected to compare and contrast the stories of a prolific pioneer like Carl Cox with the journey of a younger newcomer like Garrix, highlighting two very different moments and phenomenons in electronic dance music.
What We Started has officially received a premiere date and will be screened at the Los Angeles Film Festival on June 15.
