Tremors were sent through the UK bass scene - more than usual - when The Bug and Burial announced the release of their debut collaboration as Flame 1 earlier this month.

The first cut from the two-track EP has now dropped via an exclusive premiere at The Quietus.

Opening on dampened percussion, ‘Fog’ unfurls with The Bug’s impactful halftime rhythms and brooding outer textures where Burial’s influence is unmistakable.

Flame 1’s ‘Fog / Shine’ is out on March 30, minting The Bug’s brand new label Pressure.
