The Black Madonna and Dixon to speak at IMS Ibiza 2017
They join Masters At Work and New Order’s Bernard Sumner
The Black Madonna and Dixon have been named among 10 keynote speakers at IMS Ibiza this year to celebrate 10 years of the three-day summit.
They join Masters At Work, New Order’s Bernard Sumner, The Martinez Brothers as well as the founders of Elrow and Resident Advisor speaking at the 2017 event.
Leading figures from Facebook and Spotify and Media Records founder Gianfranco Bortolotti will also give talks.
“Its hard to believe its been a decade since the first IMS. We’ve always tried to focus on a singular room of content to help create a dialogue for change and a shared experience – all too rare in today’s fractured media landscape,” IMS co-curator Ben Turner said.
The 10 topics cover Health vs Hedonism, masterclasses on Spotify playlists and Facebook livestreaming, making the leap to become an arena-selling artist, diversity, digital defined and how Ginafranco Bortolotti shaped Italian dance music among others.
This year’s summit also boasts the biggest line-up in IMS history for their Dalt Vila event, the annual open-air party in a 2,500-year old fort.
