Wearable music technology SubPac will be integrated into a movie theater
Delivering a "physical sound" experience
SubPac has continuously paved the way to audio innovation for the past four years.
The wearable, tactile technology is a system that allows users to feel audio throughout the body, a new form of stimulation that raises the experience of sound for music, games and film.
SubPac has just announced a massive partnership with the largest cinema brand in South Korea, CJ Entertainment & Media. The elite entertainment association will integrate SubPac's wearable aural tech into 150 premium seats across two theaters at the CGV Cinema in Seoul.
With the new SubPac additions built right into the back and armrests, movie-goers will have individual control over intensity levels and special personal headphones for a fully immersive experience. SubPac and CJ E&M's new collaboration brings physical sound to consumer movie theaters for the first time ever.
Although the exciting new integration will launch in South Korea, CJ E&M owns chains in other countries including the United States.
