DJ-Kicks has unveiled the full stream of Marcel Dettmann’s highly anticipated mix and compilation ahead of its official release date.

According to Dettmann, the track selection is somewhat of a “lost and found story” as he wanted to showcase the full scope of his career, including “25 years of collecting records, digging deep, revisiting, researching” and producing music.

Dettmann also warns that this is not a mix strictly filled with club tracks as many fans might have expected: “It’s music that has accompanied me for decades. It is not a mix of brand new tracks, it’s a mixture of all the music that shaped me over the years and of all the things that still move me today, aesthetically and acoustically”.

Set for release on October 14, the Berlin producer’s DJ-Kicks features seven unreleased tracks, including a collaboration with Levon Vincent as well as a host of exclusive edits and remixes.
