It’s Tuesday, time to blast away any lingering ill effects from the weekend with a score of fierce new additions to our Best New Techno playlist.
It’s been a cracking week in the techno release realm. Szare and Acre have delivered mind-altering LOFT remixes; Luke Slater, Steve Bicknell and Function unleashed a propulsive new collaboration; a beautifully intricate Claro Intelecto album dropped; Shed put out weighty material as WK7; Volruptus’ bass-loaded, wigged-out ‘Fermi Paradox’ came out via трип; and a fizzing new EP from Ploy arrived on Hemlock.
There’s also been raucous new Tommy Four Seven and Mental Overdrive releases; and head-spinning sounds from The Golden Filter, Steffi and Patrick Russell remixing Ninos Du Brasil.
