Our Best New Techno playlist has been packed full of more dancefloor heat. And what a week for techno releases it’s been.
Hemlock keeps its first-rate year going with a disorientating, expanding Hodge release; DMX Krew showcases angular movements with ‘Grimsthorpe’; LA-4A’s bass-fuelled remix of Camea has been pressed to wax; and Wilhelm minted the Glass Talk imprint with the polyrhythmic head-spinner ‘38th Parallel’.
Dekmantel also unleashed another 10 year anniversary compilation with standout cuts from Juju & Jordash and Ectomorph; Soma keep the bangers rolling post-500 with a new off-kilter Edit Select effort; Wata Igarashi has transformed Volte-Face’s nosebleed techno into a spiralling epic; and Zomby brings his distinctive UK flavour to techno production.
Listen below and head here to subscribe to the playlist to keep current with the pulse of techno.
