Spotify playlist: 50 overlooked classics that should never be forgotten

With a fresh update to the Overlooked Classics playlist on Spotify, Mixmag showcases a variety of house cuts, all of which should never be forgotten.

Leading off the new batch is a dreamy ballad by Didier Sinclair & Chris Pi titled 'Smoky Night'. Released on a three-track EP via Serial Records in 1999, 'Smoky Night' is a track that seems to fit nicely either in the summer sun during the day or at a dimly lit afterhours during the early morning. Either way, it's a hypnotic dancefloor cut worthy of being revived today.

Also featured int he collection of timeless tracks is material by Prins Thomas and Todd Terje, Mark Broom, Trentemøller and a brilliant tune from The Other People Place that was reissued in 2017 and still sounds as fresh today as when it was released 17 years ago.

These additions join the playlist that aleady includes tracks by D'Julz, Ian Pooley, DJ Deep, Ellen Allien, Paul Woolford, Sascha Funke and more.

Follow the playlist on Spotify to stay connected and be sure to check back for weekly updates occurring every Thursday.
