Spotify playlist: 50 of the rowdiest new bass cuts

September is finally here, bringing with it a swift, sad goodbye to the sunshine and a frosty hello to another winter of coats in the club, shivering smoking areas and cold new cuts.

So far the month has offered up a slew of heavy, hypnotic and downright headsy releases, with tunes from the likes of Murlo and Cooly G making their way into our hand-picked playlist this week.

We've thrown a brain-melting slice of ominous madness from Pinch and Mumdance into the mix, alongside new tunes from Her Records NKC - who's back with a visceral three-tracker titled ‘Tincture’.

There's new experimental material from SHALT and Alis, out on Astral Plane Recording and Infinite Machine respectively, as well as new music from Lunice.

Finally, in ode to the colder months we just had to add a broody new Burial-inspired track from Bicep’s self-titled debut LP. All distorted vocals, glitchy gloominess and tear-jerking atmospherics, 'Vespa' is a definite favourite from the long-awaited album.

Be sure to follow the playlist on Spotify for a weekly round-up of club-ready cuts and dancefloor demolition.
