With the rise of destination festivals allowing fans to witness their favorite DJs in exotic locations, event organizers are taking extreme measures to ensure patrons have a unique experience. Your Paradise Festival in Fiji took the concept to a new level this year, delivering boat parties, beach raves and late night excursions in a sun-kissed environment not found at the typical summer festivals.

In an oasis in the middle of the ocean, the music was only half of what grabbed our attention. The line-up headlined by Skrillex and his OWSLA clan, along with Anna Lunoe, Breakbot, Justin Martin, Seth Troxler, Doorly, Shiba San and many more, had people dancing for hours on end. When the DJs look as if they are having just as much fun playing music as the crowd is dancing, the vibe is clearly right.

Nestled on the island of Malolo Lailai in Fiji, the scenery is filled with white sandy beaches, crystal blue waters and massive palm trees. To describe this place as an escape would be an understatement - there’s no sign of urban decay and the festival’s name says it all. It truly was a paradise.

A special moment occurred one night when Skrillex helped a fan propose to his girlfriend in the middle of a set. Moments like these are magical, not just for the two at the center, but also for everyone else in the crowd. But enough of the sappy stories, view select photos from the event above and mark your calendars for Your Paradise 2017.
