King Solomun and his team have been cruising through the country celebrating a decade with the legendary Diynamic label. The events kicked off in North America with Mexico City and continued to Miami, Los Angeles and Montreal, making its last epic stop in New York City.

Maybe the imprint has a sweet spot for the city that never sleeps, or perhaps Solomun knew he had to close off with a bang. Either way, still, days later, the warehouse party has the entirety of the underground scene buzzing. Marked as possibly the best show of the year, promoter brand Teksupport brought out every secret weapon to create an absolute techno mecca for a fully stacked line-up.

The night was headed by label-mate and sister to Solomun, Magdelena, followed by the extraordinary live act of Stimming. As the monstrous warehouse space began to fill up, Kollektiv Turmstrasse hopped on for a heavily industrial, demonic techno spree, guiding the crowd into a hyper-state of musical delirium. As 2.30am struck, Adriatique led an ocean of salivating underground fanatics, hungrily reaching towards the air at the Swiss duo. Then, after two hours of dark, dreamlike transitions blended with rough hitting bass and metallic clashes, the main event arrived.

At the peak hour of 4.30am, King Solomun stood tall bearing his undeniable music imperium to an army of thousands. Columns of multicoloured lights spanned from floor to ceiling, with psychedelic and meticulously detailed visuals lining up across the warehouse pillars in massive screens. The tremendous setup created a mesmerizing tunnel of electronic power, synapses and beams shooting intertwined against a crescendo of waving arms, dancing feet.

Amid the floating cathedral of tones, Solomun stepped up to play for three full hours, a longer set than any other US Diynamic tour date. As his last North American show, the label headmaster played what many are calling a perfect set by the artist, mixing in classically deep and overwhelming tracks with intruiging breakbeat-like garnishes and thundering techno in its purest form. Going 15 minutes over his time slot may have been an unexpected surprise, but kept the booming energy of the warehouse completely saturated into late Sunday morning.
