Some of the biggest names in UK dance music are joining forces for a series of club nights aiming to raise money for refugees.

Taking place at Electric Brixton, Daphni, Eats Everything, Faithless, Jon Hopkins and Skream are on the bill for a show on December 8, before Shy FX, Chase & Status, Rudimental and Sigma stage a drum 'n' bass takeover on December 15.

It’s hoped these shows will spark a nationwide initiative with other DJs, promoters and venue owners hosting their own ‘Rave For Refugees’ nights to raise money for Help Refugees’ ‘Choose Love’ winter appeal.

Chase & Status said they were “incredibly proud” to be supporting the cause, with Sigma also delighted to be onboard.

“We're extremely humbled to be part of such a great event for an amazing charity. It's incredible to see the industry rally behind such an important issue as this. We hope this helps encourage others to support Rave for Refugees. No human being is illegal," Sigma said.

Tickets cost £15 with all proceeds going to the Choose Love winter appeal, used to help the 60,000 refugees in Greece survive winter, as well as providing search and rescue operations and education for child refugees.
