Sinjin Hawke announces orchestral debut album ‘First Opus’

Delivering "the most potent and beautiful experience possible"

Sinjin Hawke takes to his Fractal Fantasy imprint to deliver his debut album, a project titled ‘First Opus’ that focuses on orchestral arrangements and genre-bending production.

Consisting of 14 tracks, ‘First Opus’ is the culmination of Sinjin Hawke’s career. Having worked with talent from the likes of Just Blaze and Kanye West, the album features “euphoric moments” inspired those sessions, along with more “melancholic club machinations” to balance the release.

Fellow Fractal Fantasy co-founder Zora Jones discussed what listeners can expect from the project: "Over the past four years I watched the sound of 'First Opus' crystallise first hand and realised how pure Sinjin's approach to music is. His ultimate goal is to make the most potent and beautiful experience possible – everything else is secondary. He made a point to have no features on the album in order to give the world 100% of himself and not dilute the expression."

‘First Opus’ will be released May 10. View the album’s tracklist below.
