On February 25 Adrian Sherwood and Rob Ellis, aka Sherwood and Pinch are releasing their second album, ‘Man Vs. Sofa’.

The LP follows last year’s collaborative album ‘Late Night Endless’ album and features the likes of The Sugarhill Gang’s Skip McDonald, Martin Duffy from Primal Scream, Felt, Taz, Tackhead, Little Axe and Lee “Scratch” Perry.

The UK bass innovators first meet a fabric when Pinch invited Sherwood to play at one of his nights, before connecting musically and working together. In honour of the club, the pair donated their track 'Retribution' to the #savefabric compilation, which also features on ‘Man Vs. Sofa’.

Pinch said: “Having spent around five years working together, our work flow has developed and improved considerably, and we both feel that the music we're making now is something neither of us could or would do alone. Sherwood has amassed a bunch of new (old) studio equipment over the last couple of years too, so there's been a lot more stuff to play about with, and that's expressed in some of the directions the tracks go in. I hope it resonates with listeners as much as it does with us”.

Sherwood added: “I'm really proud of ‘Man Vs. Sofa’ - Pinch and I have developed a proper great sound together and this is a real step forward.”

You can pre-order the LP here and stream 'Retribution' below.
