As befits one of techno music's best-connected producers, this remix project has attracted dance glitterati.

Prolific Swedish duo Mr Tophat & Art Alfie's jaunty, staccato take on 'Drift' is prominent chiefly because it veers from the album's primary emphasis: the darker side of techno that Scuba has been championing.

The charge is led by Ø [Phase], whose witching hour reworking of 'Family Entertainment' dives into a rattling groove. Matthew Dear, with his Audion cap on, throws down some face-chewing tech-funk on 'PCP', which morphs from a spiky electro jam into an extended breakdown, while mixes from Radio Slave and Tallmen 785 ensure that this a superior package.
