Sampha releases new material 'Timmy's Prayer'
It's the first tune he's released since 2013
Sampha has returned with new track 'Timmy's Prayer'.
His first solo release since his 'Dual' EP in 2013, the track, which is a collective of synthesised organ samples and heavily reverberated kicks and snares, sounds soothingly comfortable.
His lyrical content is hot, too, with lines like "If heaven's a prison, then I am your prisoner."
The SBTRKT collaborator hasn't re-emerged completely from the woodwork, as he recently featured on Kanye West's 'Saint Pablo'.
