Tech-heads rejoice. Roland has released a plug-in for its classic semi-modular monosynth SYSTEM-100.

The synth plug-in is compatible with any Virtual Technology Studio (VST) or Audio Units (AU) software.

As well as this, SYSTEM-1 and SYSTEM-1m synthesizer owners will also be able to make the plug-out format operate on their hardware.

Production of the System-100 ran from 1975 to 1979, with this plug-in being heralded as a perfect replica in sound and behaviour of the original analog synth.

Roland's SYSTEM-100 plug-in can be purchased for roughly £114 on its website.
